CVB Directory
A working map of the independent corporate venture builders shaping the field — who they are, what they focus on, and where they operate.

Independent Builders
Why does this list exist? We've noticed that many editors and journalists don't yet distinguish this relatively new segment from adjacent-but-different models — VC-financed startup studios (e.g. Rocket Internet, Atomic, Hexa), operational venture capitalists (e.g. Project A), or accelerators (e.g. Antler, Plug and Play) all get lumped in with corporate venture building. This list comes from industry insiders, so corporates, investors, and researchers can cut through the noise.
Methodology: This directory lists leading independent corporate venture builders in their field or specialization, identified through expert interviews. It is peer-reviewed and constantly updated, and non-exhaustive by design.

Many old lists still exist on the internet with more names — however, our intention at corporateventurebuilding.org is to support you with the most accurate and fresh data. Former relevant players that have been taken over (e.g. etventure), sold their venture building arms (e.g. Rainmaking), or shut down (e.g. Mach49), are excluded.
Disclosure: Alex Mahr, who initiated this platform, co-founded Stryber — a corporate venture builder listed here. Stryber is included under the same criteria as every other entry. See our About section for the full disclosure on this platform's independence.
Consulting Platforms
The business-building or venture-building arms of the world's largest strategy consultancies — global reach and deep resources, typically offered alongside a firm's broader consulting relationship rather than as a standalone specialism. This list is non-exhaustive.
